Jack Emery series update

Hi all

Pleased to be able to share a few exciting things from the wonderful world of Jack Emery. If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you’ll have seen this already, but I know there’s plenty who get their news on here too.

A week or so back I shipped off the manuscript for Fireplay to Haylee at Pan Macmillan. It’s a bite sized prequel novella set in Afghanistan, exploring how Jack won his first Pulitzer Prize. It’ll be free and out about a month before the next book. I’m hoping it’ll be a nice taster for new fans and a bonus for existing fans who’ve read The Foundation.

In bigger and more exciting news, on Friday I sent the manuscript for State of Emergency to Haylee at Pan and the team at Momentum. As it stands, it’s a little bigger than The Foundation, but I expect that’ll change. I also think it’s a better book, which is exciting.

I’m really excited to be able to share both with you this year. Both titles will now go into the editing and production process until they’re with you mid-year. While the wonderful people at PMA/Momentum do their thing, I’m going to start planning and writing the third novel in the series – Nations Divided.

Thanks for the support as always.

Steve
